Study with friends, even when you're apart
Invite-only pods put your friends' live study timers next to yours: who's focusing, on what, and who's leading today.
Study plans are easier to keep when someone else can see them. Studova's pods are small, invite-only study rooms: everyone's timer is live, today's hours are ranked on a daily leaderboard, and one tap sends a friend a nudge when they should be locked in.
It's the study-hall feeling without needing to be in the same room. And because Studova runs in the browser, nobody has to install anything to join you.
How pods work
Create a pod and share its invite code or QR card. Your pod's lounge shows every member's live status: focusing right now (with subject), on a break, or done for the day, plus total time studied today ranked on a leaderboard.
Yesterday's winner gets a crown and a daily recap. Group chat with @mentions keeps coordination inside the app, and nudges are rate-limited so encouragement never becomes spam.
What keeps everyone coming back
Every member also carries their own streak, daily quests and league placement, so the pod leaderboard is only one of the reasons to show up. When your streak gets long you can share it as a card outside the app.
A pod holds up to 100 people, so a whole class can study together.
Common questions
How many friends can join a pod?
A pod holds up to 100 members, and you can be in up to 20 pods at once.
Can strangers join my pod?
No, pods are invite-only. Someone needs your code or QR card to get in, and pod data is only visible to members.
Do we all need the app installed?
No. Studova is a web app, so friends can sign up and study from any browser in about two minutes. There's an Android app if they want push notifications.
Is it free?
Yes, pods, live timers, leaderboards, chat and nudges are all free.
Can I see what my friends are studying?
Yes. Your pod shows each member's live status, their subject and their total study time for today. Pod members do not see each other's session list or journal.
Can friends join my pod from different devices?
Yes. Friends can join the same pod from a laptop, an Android phone or an iPhone in Safari, and everyone's live timers show up together.
