A study timer for JEE preparation
Time your Physics, Chemistry and Maths sessions, see where your hours really go, and study alongside other JEE students.
Studova is a free study timer you can use for JEE preparation. You start a timer for a subject, it saves the session, and your stats show how many hours you gave to Physics, Chemistry and Maths each day and each week.
It also lets you plan around your exam date and study with friends in a pod, where you see each other's live timers. There is an open JEE pod you can join from Find a pod.
How to use a timer for JEE prep
Pick one subject per sitting and run one focus block at a time. Many students use 50 to 90 minutes of work followed by a short break, or 25 minutes on and 5 off if that is easier to start. These are common habits, not official rules, so use the length that you can repeat every day.
Start the timer when you sit down, not when you feel ready. Stop it when you stop working. A log of real focused time shows you more than a feeling of having studied all day.
Track hours by subject
In Studova, each session is tagged with a subject, and you can add your own, such as Physics, Organic Chemistry or Calculus. Stats show hours per subject, per weekday and by time of day.
This helps you notice when one subject is getting far less time than the others. Fix that in your plan, not with guilt.
Plan up to your exam date
Add your JEE exam date and the planner counts down the days. The Make my plan flow asks for your subjects, the hard ones, the days you can study and how long you can sit. You can paste your syllabus and Studova splits it into chapters, then plans them with revision days at the end.
Plan blocks become reminders. If a block starts and you have not begun, Studova reminds you.
Study with other JEE students
Studying next to other people makes it easier to start. Make a pod for your friends or class and share the invite code, or open Find a pod and join the JEE pod. You see who is studying, their subject and today's total on a daily leaderboard.
Add flashcards with spaced repetition for formulas and reactions. Reviews sit next to your timer in the same app.
