A study timer for NEET preparation

Time your Biology, Physics and Chemistry sessions, see where your hours really go, and study alongside other NEET students.

Studova is a free study timer you can use for NEET preparation. You start a timer for a subject, it saves the session, and your stats show how many hours you gave to Biology, Physics and Chemistry each day and each week.

It also lets you plan around your exam date and study with friends in a pod, where you see each other's live timers. There is an open NEET pod you can join from Find a pod.

How to use a timer for NEET prep

Pick one subject per sitting and run one focus block at a time. Many students use 50 to 90 minutes of work followed by a short break, or 25 minutes on and 5 off if that is easier to start. These are common habits, not official rules, so use the length that you can repeat every day.

Start the timer when you sit down and stop it when you stop working. A log of real focused time shows you more than a feeling of having studied all day.

Track hours by subject

In Studova, each session is tagged with a subject, and you can add your own, such as Botany, Zoology or Physical Chemistry. Stats show hours per subject, per weekday and by time of day.

NEET has a lot of Biology to cover, so it helps to check that it is getting the time you planned for it, next to Physics and Chemistry.

Plan up to your exam date

Add your NEET exam date and the planner counts down the days. The Make my plan flow asks for your subjects, the hard ones, the days you can study and how long you can sit. You can paste your syllabus and Studova splits it into chapters, then plans them with revision days at the end.

Plan blocks become reminders. If a block starts and you have not begun, Studova reminds you.

Study with other NEET students

Studying next to other people makes it easier to start. Make a pod for your friends or class and share the invite code, or open Find a pod and join the NEET pod. You see who is studying, their subject and today's total on a daily leaderboard.

Flashcards with spaced repetition suit facts you need to recall, such as diagrams, terms and reactions. Reviews sit next to your timer in the same app.
