A study accountability app that notices when you do not start
Studova reminds you when a study block starts, and your friends can see whether you are working.
Studova is a free study accountability app that works in two ways: it reminds you when a planned study block starts and you have not begun, and it lets friends in a private pod see your live timer.
Accountability usually means someone checking in on you, which is hard to arrange every day. Studova does the checking. The app watches the clock for you, and your pod shows who is studying right now.
Reminders when you plan to study
Set your weekly study times once, like Physics, 7 to 9 pm, on weekdays. When a block starts, Studova waits a few minutes. If no session is running by then, it reminds you in the app, and as a phone notification if you have turned notifications on.
One tap on the reminder starts a session with that block's subject already filled in.
Friends who can see you work
Make a private pod and share the invite code. Everyone sees who is studying right now, their subject and today's total, ranked on a daily leaderboard.
If a friend has not started, you can send a nudge, and they can nudge you. Nudges are limited, so nobody gets spammed.
A record that adds up
Every session is saved by subject. Stats compare the hours you planned with the hours you did, and the study journal gives you somewhere to write down what went well and what did not.
Your streak grows on days you finish two daily quests, and streak freezes cover days you cannot study. Weekly leagues add a wider leaderboard on top of your pod.
Common questions
What is a good app to keep me accountable for studying?
Studova is a free study app built for this. It reminds you when a planned study block starts, shows your friends your live timer, and tracks your streak and hours.
Can I find a study accountability partner on Studova?
You can invite a friend or classmate into a private pod with an invite code. You will see each other's live timers and can send nudges. Pods are invite-only, so your partner is someone you chose.
Does Studova remind me when I should be studying?
Yes. You set your weekly study times, and if a block starts and you have not begun, Studova reminds you in the app, and as a phone notification if you turn notifications on.
What happens if I skip a study session on Studova?
Nothing is locked or punished. Studova reminds you, a streak freeze can protect your streak on days you cannot study, and your stats show how much you planned compared with how much you did.
Can my friends see what I am studying on Studova?
Yes. Pod members see whether you are studying right now, your subject and your total for today. Your session list and journal stay private to you.
Is the Studova accountability app free?
Yes. Reminders, pods, leaderboards, streaks and stats are free, and no card is needed to sign up.
