The Forest alternative for people who study with others

Rewards for staying focused, like Forest. Live study rooms, real analytics and a routine enforcer, unlike Forest.

Forest made focus sessions feel like a game: start a timer, leave the app, and something grows. Studova keeps that reward loop with tokens, daily quests, streaks and weekly leagues, then builds the rest of a study app around it.

The difference is what happens outside the session. Forest tracks the minutes; Studova tracks the subjects, the schedule you set, whether you kept it, and who else is studying with you right now.

Rewards that keep going after the session

You earn tokens for completed focus blocks and spend them in a shop on name colours, fonts, titles and themes. Four daily quests rotate with targets scaled to your own recent study history rather than a fixed number that is either trivial or impossible.

Streaks count the days you clear at least two quests, and streak freezes cover the days you cannot study, so one bad week does not erase months.

Studying with other people

Studova's pods are invite-only study rooms where everyone's timer is live. You see who is focusing, on what, and today's totals ranked on a leaderboard, with nudges and chat built in. Yesterday's top studier gets a crown.

Weekly leagues put you against a wider group if your friends are not online, so there is always something to place in.

It runs on your laptop

Studying mostly happens on a computer, next to your notes and lecture tabs. Studova is a web app first, fully featured in any desktop browser, with an Android app for push notifications. Forest is built around leaving your phone alone, which does nothing about the browser tabs in front of you.

That is also what makes the desktop website blocker possible: it blocks distracting sites for the duration of your session automatically.
