Everything in Studova

Plan when you'll study, actually do it, bring your friends, and watch your progress grow.

Plan it: study reminders the moment it's time, a planner with exam countdowns, an exam revision plan, and different routines for school weeks and holidays.

Study: a study timer that saves your time even if you refresh or close your laptop, Pomodoro, focus mode with rain and lo-fi sounds, blocking for distracting sites and apps, and flashcards.

Study with friends: private pods you join with an invite code, see who's studying right now, nudges, a daily leaderboard, group chat and weekly leagues.

Keep it going: streaks and streak freezes, daily quests, tokens and a shop, your stats, achievements and a study journal.

Anywhere: works in any browser, has an Android app, light and dark themes, and your data stays private. Delete your account anytime.

Common questions

What is Studova?

Studova is a free study app that reminds you when it's time to study, times your sessions, and lets you study with friends in private groups called pods, where you see each other's live timers and a daily leaderboard.

Is Studova free?

Yes. The study timer, study reminders, pods, streaks, daily quests, weekly leagues, flashcards and stats are free, and no card is needed to sign up.

How is Studova different from other study timers?

Most timers only count the studying you do. Studova also knows when you planned to study, so if a study block starts and you haven't, it reminds you. It adds live group study with friends on top.

Can I study with friends on Studova?

Yes. Create a pod, share the invite code, and you'll see who is studying right now, their subject, and today's totals on a daily leaderboard. You can nudge friends and chat in the pod.

Does Studova work on my phone?

Yes. It runs in any browser at studova.me, installs to your home screen, and has an Android app for notifications and app blocking. On iPhone it runs in Safari; a native iOS app is not out yet.

Can Studova block distracting websites and apps?

Yes. During a study session it can block distracting websites through a browser extension on desktop, and distracting apps on Android.

Is Studova a good alternative to YPT or Forest?

If you liked YPT's group study, Studova keeps live group timers and leaderboards and adds study reminders and a full desktop app. If you used Forest to stay off your phone, Studova blocks sites and apps during a session instead of growing a tree.

Is Studova the same as Studova AI?

No. Studova is a study timer and group study app at studova.me. Studova AI is a different product from a different company, and the two are not connected.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings at any time.

Does Studova work on a laptop or PC?

Yes. The full Studova app runs in any desktop browser on Windows, Mac or Chromebook, with nothing to install. A browser extension adds website blocking during study sessions.

Does Studova use video calls or cameras?

No. Studova pods show your friends' live timers, subjects and daily totals, with nudges and text chat. There is no video, and pods are invite-only.
