A study timer app that works on your PC or laptop
Nothing to download. Open studova.me in your browser and use the full app on Windows, Mac or Chromebook.
Studova is a free study timer app that runs in any desktop browser, so it works on a Windows PC, a Mac or a Chromebook with nothing to install. You get the full app on your laptop: the timer, study reminders, pods, flashcards, planner and stats.
Most study apps start on a phone. Studova starts in the browser, which is where most students work, next to their notes and lecture tabs. If you are looking for a YPT (Yeolpumta) app for PC, Studova is built the other way round. YPT is mobile-first, and its desktop support is limited.
The full app runs in the browser
Go to studova.me and sign up. The count-up and Pomodoro timer, subjects, stats, planner, flashcards and pods all work on a laptop the same way they do on a phone.
If you refresh the page, the timer keeps your time. If you close the tab, the timer pauses, and when you open Studova again it asks whether to continue or end the session.
Made for studying at a computer
The Studova browser extension blocks distracting websites while your timer runs. It switches on when a session starts and off when the session ends. Focus mode goes full screen and hides the rest of the app, and you can play rain, brown noise, white noise or lo-fi sounds.
Study reminders show up wherever Studova is open, and as a phone notification if you turn notifications on.
One account for your laptop and your phone
Sign in with the same account on your laptop and your phone and your sessions, streak and pods are the same on both. The Android app adds phone notifications and app blocking, and iPhone works in Safari.
Study groups work across devices too. You can be on a laptop while a friend is on a phone, and you still see each other's live timers.
